RARE Delft De Klaauw 17th or 18th C Tin Glazed Blue/White Bacchus Dionysus Mug
Up for auction, one authentic and rare tin glazed earthenware mug in the form of a beautifully modelled and painted Bacchus or Dionysus. I acquired it 25 years ago from an antique dealer here in town, and I’ve enjoyed having it displayed in my china cabinet since then. Time to start letting go of a few things. It’s profusely marked to the base, but the only thing I know is that it was made at the De Klaa
